Accommodation and Guest Rooms

Cold Cotes has three very comfortable, newly furnished guest rooms available. All of which have their own mini-fridge, television, DVD, tea and coffee making and ironing facilities. We can accommodate six guests.

Room 1:  a double room with ensuite shower room

Room 2:  a double room with ensuite bathroom

 

 

 

 

Room 3:  a suite of rooms with one twin/superking room and a               single room  with an ensuite bathroom serving both rooms. 

                                                                                                                                   There is a private lounge available for the use of guests. The large dining room has panoramic views stretching out over the Dales as far as to the White Horse in the Hambleton Hills.

 

Breakfast

Includes fruit juice, cereals, fresh fruit,  toast and a traditional cooked Yorkshire breakfast with tea or coffee.  A vegetarian cooked breakfast is also available and other special requirements can be catered for with advance notice.

Other Meals

Although Cold Cotes does not provide dinner, light bites and snacks can be provided on request.

Local Attractions

Cold Cotes is located in close proximity to a wide range of local attractions and provides a welcome haven to return to after a busy day’s walking in the Yorkshire Dales or sightseeing in the local centres of Ripon or Harrogate.

Other attractions include the historic Fountains Abbey and gardens, Ripon and Ripley Castle. Harrogate town centre is only a ten minute drive away and has a wealth interesting tourist attractions such as the Pump Rooms, Spa Baths etc.

Harrogate International Conference Centre  is approximately 7 miles from Cold Cotes. The Yorkshire Showground with its regular events such as the Great Yorkshire Show (July) is only a 15 minute drive away, making Cold Cotes the ideal venue for overnight accommodation.  Local gardens to visit include the RHS Harlow Carr gardens and Newby Hall, an historic house with superb gardens.

York City with the National Railway Museum, city walls and a wealth of history is only a forty minute drive away through picturesque North Yorkshire countryside.

Eating Out

Harrogate and the surrounding North Yorkshire villages have a wealth of eating places specialising in fine wines and gastronomy. The range of establishments available varies from sophisticated restaurants, bistros and wine bars in Harrogate to the more traditional pubs found in the Yorkshire Dales. There are three traditional pubs within a two and a half mile radius of Cold Cotes.

We welcome children over the age of 12.

Bookings will be acknowledged and a £10 deposit per person will be requested for bookings to be confirmed.

A contract exists between you and with whom you have made the booking. If you have to cancel we will try to re-let your cancelled accommodation, but deposit will not be refunded. Should the accommodation not be re-let you are liable to a percentage of the initial charges dependant on the time of cancellation and the start of your visit.

Ample parking is available in the grounds of Cold Cotes. 

For the comfort  of  all concerned Cold Cotes is a non-smoking establishment.
